Hi! I’m a Toronto-based writer and filmmaker.
I’m into dark comedies and overthinking. My short films have screened at festivals including Fantasia Film Festival, Dances With Films: NY, Calgary Underground Film Festival, Toronto After Dark, Victoria Film Festival, and Final Girls Berlin. My horror-comedy short Maybe You Should Be Careful was a finalist in CBC’s Short Film Face-Off and is now streaming on CBC Gem. Have We Met? is available to stream on Film Shortage and CBC’s Canadian Reflections.
My short screenplay How It Ends was a quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft Short Film Competition and is now in development as a feature film. My television pilot Maidens was developed through Fem Script Lab and was a quarterfinalist in WeScreenplay’s TV Pilot Competition.
I studied acting at George Brown Theatre School, screenwriting at Script Anatomy, and multimedia journalism at the University of Toronto. My essays and interviews have been published by Chatelaine, Flare, and Intermission Magazine. My essay, “Confessions From Theatre School,” remains one of Intermission’s most-read pieces.
I’m currently developing original work for film and television. Selected screenwriting samples are available upon request.
When I’m not writing, you can find me behind the camera with Silvr Studio!
